A simple reference to help you align your mind, body, and energy before, during, and after any healing experience.

🌿 1. Come With Openness, Not Expectation.

  • Let go of trying to predict or control the outcome.
  • Approach the session with curiosity rather than conclusions.
  • Say inwardly: “I am open to receive what is most supportive at this time.”
  • Receptivity begins with trust—not knowing.

🧠 2. Prepare Your Mind and Emotions.

  • Release emotional buildup and mental tension if possible.
  • Avoid trying to “figure out” how healing works—just allow it.
  • Set a quiet intention. One simple sentence is enough.
  • Express gratitude before the session begins—it softens resistance.

💧 3. Prepare Your Physical Body.

  • Hydrate well. Water supports energetic flow and integration.
  • Avoid heavy or dense foods before the session.
  • Wear loose, clean, and comfortable clothing.
  • If part of your practice, consider a saltwater bath beforehand.

🪷 4. Set the Environment.

  • Select a space where you feel both emotionally and physically secure.
  • Silence your phone and reduce outside noise or interruptions.
  • Use items that promote calmness, such as soft lighting, blankets, sacred objects, silence, or gentle music.
  • Make sure the space reflects stillness, not stimulation.

🧘 5. During the session, be still and Present.

  • Sit or lie in a position that allows complete relaxation.
  • Keep your arms and legs uncrossed to support energetic flow.
  • Breathe naturally; let each exhale release more tension.
  • Avoid chanting mantras unless the healer instructs you to do so.
  • Preferred sacred sounds (if used): Om, Amen, Amin, or simply silence.
  • Don’t play or recite mantras, chants, or prayers in the background unless specifically guided by the healer.
  • If emotions arise—tears, yawns, laughter, or stillness—allow them without interference.
  • Avoid fidgeting or engaging in mental narratives; just be.

🌬️ 6. Let the Energy Move.

  • You don’t have to do anything or “try harder.”
  • Let go of the need to feel a specific emotion.
  • Notice sensations gently if they arise, but don’t analyze them.
  • Be present in the experience rather than thinking about it.

🌕 7. After the Session: Support the Integration.

  • Trust the process—don’t dissect or overanalyze what happened.
  • Some (physical) detoxification or emotional shifts may occur; this is a natural part of the process.
  • Allow rest and quiet time. A nap is often more supportive than rehashing.
  • Drink water slowly and intentionally.
  • Avoid overstimulation or intense conversations afterward.
  • If part of your ritual, a grounding walk can help. 
  • Journal, breathe, or sit with what has shifted.

⚠️ 8. What to Avoid Before and After.

  • Avoid alcohol, recreational substances, or anything that clouds awareness at least 24 hours before and after.
  • Don’t rush into emotionally charged situations.
  • Refrain from multitasking during remote sessions.
  • Avoid dwelling on your problems or analyzing your experiences. Focus on the positive results you want to experience. 
  • Heavy meals, scrolling, and overstimulation may disrupt the integration process.
  • Avoid crossing arms or legs during the session to keep energy open.

🧭 9. Tune to Your Wisdom.

  • These are guidelines, not rules.
  • Always listen to your body, your intuition, and the instructions of the person holding space for your session.
  • Trust what feels grounding, centering, and real for you.
  • No two sessions are alike—and no two people receive in the same way.
